Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho looks to be in deep trouble.
According to Tanzanian news source Independent Television (ITV), Kenyan president Uhuru Kenyatta has been asked to surrender Joho to the INTERPOL with immediate effect.
This comes just days after Joho threw heavy verbal jabs at Deputy President William Ruto and word on the street is that this triggered the DP so much that he has decided to finally deal with Joho once and for all.
Last year, reports had suggested that Joho’s sudden support for Uhuru Kenyatta was so that he wouldn’t be extradited to the United States over his links to the Akashas.
There were strong rumours that part of Raila Odinga and Uhuru Kenyatta’s handshake deal was Joho’s protection from extradition.
