On Monday evening, Nairobi gubernatorial aspirant and NRM Kenya General Dr. Miguna Miguna launched an attack on Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho.
It all started after Joho’s social media team posted a photo of him and his Kilifi counterpart Mr. Amason Kingi attending this year’s devolution conference held in Kirinyaga County.
Day one of the #DevolutionConference2019. Elegance is an understatement.

The photo of the two sharply dressed leaders didn’t go down very well with Miguna who quickly quoted the tweet and told the two individuals that they are not paid to dress elegantly and that they should focus on delivering services to their people instead. While making this remark, he unapologetically addressed Joho as “Mr. D-Minus”.
Deliver services to your people, Mr. D-Minus. You are not paid lots of money to look "elegant."#DevolutionConference2019 https://t.co/16CNfNZq7z

A huge majority of Kenyans, however, seemed to disagree with Miguna on this particular matter. In fact, Joho’s social media team went on to question Raila’s former right-hand man’s sense of fashion, asking him to buy a new taqiya cap since his current one had seen better days.
Miguna while replying to the savagery comment said it was just a mere “tremble” that left him unshaken.
Here are some more reactions that we sampled below.
As a man you ought to look elegant sometimes. You have been wearing one Taqiyah (cap) since 2007 when you were working at the then Pentagon secretariat. Buy a new one.

General, with due respect I beg to differ with you.Getting a D_ is not failure in life.we have seen people who scored an E but have risen through ranks to become giants academically and sociallyy.I have in mind pple like Abraham Lincoln and John Major.
