American Singer Cardi B has been in trouble with a section of the online community after she made a series of admissions about her past life, including that she used to steal from men after offering them sex.
While on Instagram live, the Grammy Award-winning artist got carried away when hitting back at critics who claim she didn’t deserve her success and in an ill-advised attempt to show just how much she has worked for what she has, the 26-year-old ended up making shocking admissions from her past life.
“Niggas must’ve forgotten. My niggas, the shit that I did to muthafuckin’ survive. I had to go strip. I had to go, ‘Oh yeah, you wanna fuck me? Yeah, yeah, yeah, let’s go back to this hotel’. And I drugged niggas up and robbed them!”
“That’s what I used to do. Nothing was muthafuckin’ handed to me, my niggas. Nothing!”
People have now taken to social media to voice their outrage at her claims with the hashtag #SurvivingCardiB doing rounds on Twitter as a playoff to the recent controversy that met the “Surviving R Kelly” documentary with a huge section feeling that she deserves the exact same treatment as the R & B Singer.
So we are making excuses for Cardi B who admitted to luring men with sex, drugging them and robbing them? Amazing isn't it?

I'm wondering why this "people change" line wasn't used during the RKelly and Bill Cosby episodes…

So are we going to penalize @iamcardib for drugging men or are we going to let double standards and celebrity privilege do it’s thing, and ignore this. Remember Bill Cosby? Yeaa where is that same energy?🤔

Through her Instagram, the rapper has since posted a picture with a statement defending her actions with the caption “All I can do now is be a better me for myself, my family and my future”.
In the statement, she claims that her past acts were out of desperation.
