A few days before the start of the latest xenophobic attacks in South Africa, President Cyril Ramaphosa gave a speech during an election campaign calling on ‘foreigners’ to stop illegal business.
“everybody just arrives in our townships and rural areas and set up businesses without licenses and permits. We are going to bring this to an end,” Ramaphosa said.
Soon after, the attacks on foreigners begun in parts of the country. Graphic videos circulating online shows people believed to be foreigners being slaughtered like chicken in South Africa.
The Kenyan Government, (looters and Grabbers) have not yet released a statement or updated Kenyans on how their brothers are fairing in South Africa. Appalling!
Many people believe that his speech embolden criminal gangs to start killing foreigners.
