My colleague Mr Goerge Arogo was given a redundancy letter due to a disagreement between his boss Mr Ken Nyakomitta and his parents.
They hail from the same area .Mr. Nyakomitta was putting some allegations that my colleague was talking about Nyakomittas brother who was employed by DTB and was arrested on the grounds of fraud.
Ken being the head of Asset Finance department refused to sign my colleague’s staff loan just because of those allegations.
He called him to his office and confirmed the same to him.Ken instructed Lillian Ngalla the head of H/R and the bank security team to never allow my colleague into the compound.
Ken and Lillian are both in the senior management team.
Lillian Ngalla called my colleague into her office and requested her to go and kneel before Mr Ken and plead for forgiveness. My colleague refused.
He was treated like a thief and yet he stole nothing. He was whisked out of his work station to the dismay of other staff members who tried to side with him but to no avail.
He was instructed to never step in the compound again. He is unable to come and claim his dues because he is afraid of being embarrassed again. What was done to him was inhuman.
He has a threat letter which was issued to him by Nyakomitta which talked about the redundancy letter which was issued to him afterwards. This is one bank where we have seen and still see the devil in the form of Lillian Ngalla.
One has to survive here by the grace of GOD.
Guys are always afraid of airing their grievances for fear of losing their jobs.
