She poses like an ordinary woman but she’s a dangerous seasoned fraudster who is swindling monies from unsuspecting innocent persons in the name of selling Mitumba. When you think or imagine the villains who defraud people you might picture crooks hacking banks accounts but don’t be misled, these con people are amidst us.
She goes by the name “Blessed Mtuma” but her name is Judy Chemtai Rotich. She claims that she brings mitumba containers from the UK/Canada. This lady resides in Nyayo Estate Embakasi with her family and has two kids. Its quite a shame and an embarrassment to her lady neighbors who have been duped by her.
Recently she posted on Court 570 Mums whatsapp platform about her business. She asked the moms if there’s someone in the business or knows someone who would be interested, to share the information to them in the spirit of supporting her business. She shared a link for those interested to join.
One of the Moms joined and went ahead to share the details of the business with her friends and relatives who were added to the group. On Tuesday 23rd July one of her friend paid Kshs. 40k via mpesa for a bale of Mitumba. Judy confirmed receipt of payment and said that delivery will be done on a Wednesday morning. Long story short, the bale was never delivered till today.
