Cases of rampant mismanagement and looting by school principals in Kenya is at an all time high.
Someone on Twitter had suggested that the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP) should start with low hanging fruits in the war on corruption.
“Mimi nitaamini tumeanza kufight corruption when Primary school Headmasters na High school Principals wataanza kufungwa coz they have all become thieves…..they are driving SUVs and building flats from stealing pesa za shule buana”, Ohta Ryota wrote on Twitter.
Hello Cyprian.
Kindly help me expose the leadership of Kairi Boys High School. This is from a parent having his son in form One at Kairi Boys.
“Please CS Magoha, come to our aid and do something to us as parents of KAIRI BOYS HIGH SCHOOL which is located in Gatundu, Kiambu county.
How can a school prepare two different school fees structure in a period of one term indicating different figures?
In the first term when my son was joining form one, I was provided with a school fee structure indicating that parents were to pay Sh40,500, for the whole year, all parents managed to pay this.
Taking back our son’s to school after a short end term, I was shocked to be told that the first term fee structure was not genuine and I was provided with another fee structure now indicating that the fee has been increased from Sh40,500 to Sh53,000 without any proper explanation.
Now my question is, where are we going to get the increased amount that has been thrown at us without our consent?
How will those parents whose children fees are being paid by through scholarships, go back those organizations and convince them that the first term fee structure they provided was not genuine, and if it was not genuine, why was the school providing it in the first place?.
Please Prof. Magoha come and intervene into this situation”
