Isn’t a bank supposed to have systems that are foolproof.
However, if a bank is run like a Chama in the village. The below is what happens.

I took a loan in 2015 with Equity worth Kshs. 120,000, since my salary was through Equity Bank they used to make the monthly deductions.
I paid the loan for six months and was later called and congratulated for having completed payments of the loan. In 2019, I applied for a loan in Cooperative Bank of Kenya and shockingly I was denied the loan since my name was forwarded to CRB by Equity bank.
