The entity Choice microfinance bank Ltd is a public LTD COMPANY and a bank in Kenya.
It was started by Kenyans living in the diaspora. However, it has been used as a conduit of stealing money from Kenyans abroad by Bernard Kamiri, Mburu Mungai, Simon Gachuniawho forcefully awarded himself the role of the chairman of the board without any election) and Simon Ndung’u
They have stolen more than Ksh. 500 million from Kenyans in the diaspora. They disguise that they are selling shares to Kenyans in diaspora and pocket the money.
The central bank of Kenya is in full knowledge and has not acted on this mismanagement begging the question if its officers and the entity are completely compromised by the above characters. This begs the question of whether the government is serious with diaspora remittances or it is just lip service.
The institution choice does not embrace any corporate governance ethics and its run like a personal property of the three thieves begging the question of where is the central bank, the capital markets authority the registrar of companies and the government of Kenya.
Kindly publish the above and let members of the public in Kenya and diaspora so that no one else will be conned by these thieves, for the regulator is sound asleep or is with them enjoying the loot.
We are the Shareholders of the bank but up to date, we have never been given the share register, the audited books of accounts and reasons for the resignation of the independent directors who have all run away.
Since the end of last year, the board has not been properly constituted and thus any decision they have made is not binding, however, the central bank has allowed this group to make far-reaching decisions despite knowing the illegality. Contact even the central bank of Kenya, capital markets authority and the registrar of companies to verify this information.
The said boar has hired an acting CEO who is also a known thieve. He was sacked from Kenya women finance due to stealing from customers, he repeated the same at Faulu Kenya and lastly Musoni microfinance.
