A student at Kagumo Teachers Training College (TTC) has exposed the Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC) for deliberately failing her in exams.
The student whose name is Feith Ndereba posted on Facebook that KNEC fails them in exams only to ask for bribes later for marks to be improved.
Read the story below:
May this go to me Dr matiangi and Proffesor Magoha, the Cahinet Secretary for Education.
Attached below are my two papers that I did on March 19th 2019.
It is a Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC) exam which I think none has right to expose it in such a manner.
I have been requested to pay Kshs. 5000 to get 58 marks from 34 points; yet I can see numbers 6 and 7, I have been awarded 7 and 17 marks consecutively.
I was threatened if I don’t pay I will get zero from those two questions and that’s why we have been having massive failures in the following subjects:- BIOLOGY, MATHEMATICS, CHEMISTRY, PHYSICS for the past three years.
These is what I am asking: will I be paying for registration and also pay to pass exams?
How can you employ conmen to mark our exams?
Why should my marks be deducted?
May also this get to our Chief Principal Mr. Francis Mwangi, please follow up this mess before August.
We can’t be failing and everyone scored C+ and above?
It’s now evident that KNEC wants money to key in correct marks.
We as Kagumo TTC students we want justice this year.
