A concerned citizen has raised a red flag on suspicious activities by TrustGo – a local credit lender feared to be scamming both its staff and clients.
Sources at the firm which was formerly known as “GetBucks” have lifted the lid on a myriad of ongoing anomalies under the current rogue management.
For instance, borrowers of check-off loans complain of missing refunds from extra deductions on their wages, unless they file and prove their claim.
The firm’s executives are suspected to be wrongfully withholding millions of shillings that ought to be forwarded to the Unclaimed Financial Assets Authority as per legal regulations.
Most of the victims are teachers, police, county officials and junior civil servants who make up most of their clientele.
Oppressed staff say they are suffocating from a toxic working environment full of rampant mistreatment and discrimination by senior executives who stop at nothing when exerting their power.
Delayed salaries are the order of the day for ordinary workers, but the CEO, managers, lawyers, partners and consultants are always paid on time.
