This afternoon, members of the Kenya National Paralympics Team held a protest along Thika Road over the government’s failure to remit their dues.
The group blocked off a section of the highway near Safari Park and vowed not to leave until their grievances were addressed by the government and the Sports Ministry in particular.
Moments later, police officers were sent to disperse the crowd through a method which many have described as extremely crude and inhumane.
The fully armed cops exerted unnecessary brutality on the peaceful protestors with some ending up badly injured in the process; something which greatly angered the online community who have since heavily condemned the heinous act.
