Kenyans, we have stupid and skewed kind of hope.
This kind of hope makes us susceptible to abuse yet we still hold onto a better day.
Which better day?, I ask.
This system is broken and needs urgent fixing.
Note this, we should not be used to mistreatment and suffering. We should not be used to pain
If life is painful, then it doesn’t have any meaning. It is not worth living it.
The stories of mistreatment are sad, but one thing, you know that Indians (…and any other at heart) in Kenya have always done this to Kenyans. Isn’t it time to stop it?
We are aware how our government pampers them and therefore cannot do shit to help us Kenyans.
What we need to do is to rise up, go to court, picket, petition. If this doesn’t work then the words of black civil rights leader Malcolm X should ring true.
Be peaceful, be courteous, obey the law, respect everyone; but if someone puts his hand on you, send him to the cemetery – Malcolm X
Here below, the information sent to the chief editor of this site about mistreatment of employees at Eldo Supermarket in Eldoret.
Cyprian,
Please highlight this.
ELDO Supermarket in Eldoret, Juma Haji building.
The owner Mr. Ajay treats employees like trash.
He literally employs daily because no one stands him.
They work from Monday – Monday with no off day from 8.30am – 8.30 p.m for a 6000 monthly pay.
He shouts at them in the presence of customers and they take very little lunch at 3 p.m.
