Kenya has been listed among nine countries that anyone can easily travel to globally according to Forbes.
The global media company indicated that the only entry requirements to get into Kenya is a proof of negative test conducted in 96 hours of arrival
“Kenya is currently fairly relaxed at the border, and travel around the country is not restricted,” Forbes noted.
Kenya is currently witnessing a promising virus trend since the numbers have kept moving down since August, and deaths have remained relatively low.
International flights to and from the country resumed on August 1 but the numbers of new cases have steadily decreased.
So far the numbers in Kenya stand at 34,493 cases in total, with 581 deaths .Just last month Kenya became the first country in the world to be awarded ‘Safe Travel Seal’ after adopting the global health and hygiene protocols dubbed ‘Safe Travels.
Tourism CS Najib Balala lauded the recognition as timely as the country prepares to reopen the tourism and hospitality sector since it was closed in March.
Mexico made it the list though there is no entry requirement to the country and it is still possible to fly into various Mexican cities from anywhere. There are also no testing or quarantine requirements are currently put in place.
In Turkey too there are no entry requirements, virus test or quarantine put in place but incoming passengers are checked for symptoms.edure.
While in French Polynesia only a proof of negative test that has not taken more than three days is needed.
