What is wrong with a person having fake papers ? I thought everything is fake in this country ?. Former campaign manager of Raila Odinga presidential secretariat Eliud Owalo has been caught in an alleged fake degree scam.
Eliud Owalo was forced to resign from ODM Citing personal differences with some people within the ODM party. According to local dailies, Owalo resignation got Raila Odinga by surprise. In his resignation letter Owalo said.
“Whereas I have over the past two years had to endure a lot of similar backstabbing innuendos and political intrigues from political busy bodies who are in ruthless and in aggressive pursuit of their own political aggrandisement irrespective of your own political future. I cannot reconcile my conscience with the latest attacks from Jakoyo who is in my considered opinion and belief has no technical capacity to advise me on anything”.
It is alleged that Owalo’s papers are fake and he never graduated from KU due to poor Academic Performance. Another source claims that he never graduated because of a disciplinary case that made him expelled.
