Since our expose on how the corrupt British American Tobacco management takes innocent job seekers for a ride by hand-picking candidates prior to advertising of the positions, many othe former and current employees have been approaching us and seeeking to have their griveances with the company highlighted.
One specific former employee has told us the sad story of how Mauritian Human Resource Manager Razeah Belath insulted him after he went to ask for his dues after leaving the company.
“Dear Nyakundi”, he starts.
“I used to work with BAT till September 2015 when I left on redundancy grounds. I was paid my dues on a lower grade than what I was supposed to get. This was the case for the last 3 years of my tenure (2012-2015) which affected my salary increments, bonuses and eventual payout upon exit.
When I attempted to ask for my correct dues Raz, as she is commonly referred to, told me off and even insulted me behind my back.”
From all the messages and e-mails we are receiving, it is quite clear that the HR department at the company has a huge problem. More thaan half of the complaints streaming in are all pointing the finger towards the Mauritian.
We urge all current and former employees of British American Tobacco to keep on sending information which shall be highlighted through our strict anonymity policy.
