The Taita Taveta County Governor Granton Samboja might have won a stay in office order from the Senate Special Committee but his woes seem far from over.
Today, the Independent Electoral And Boundaries Commission (IEBC) has on Wednesday afternoon confirmed ‘received, from the Office of the President, a list and signatures of supporters petitioning dissolution of County Government of Taita Taveta’.
Members of County Assembly (MCA) from the county wanted Governor Samboja out over ‘corruption and mismanagement’.
The county assembly actually impeached him om the 9th of October but the senate, 6 days ago, overturned the matter after after senators rejected all the allegations of misconduct levelled against him by the MCAs.
Now the people have collected signatures and Samboja is still in deep shit.
