Today the EACC and the Inter-Religious Sector launched a “Bible Study Guide” meant to be used by groups and individuals to “inspire” them to stay away from corruption.
According to the official communication by the EACC, the book titled “Integrity: A Weapon Against Corruption.” is intended to help Kenyans “interact with the Bible and discover God’s position on corruption and his direction on living a corruption free life.
The event which was attended by EACC Commissioner Rose M. Macharia and EACC Deputy CEO Mr. Michael Mubea has left Kenyans wondering how a whole body sat down and came to this conclusion. For a body that receives millions of shillings every financial year such a ridiculous move is embarrassing.
It looks like the heat of corruption has become too much for Halakhe Waqo and his counterparts and they have decided to hand over the matter to God, literally.
Here is what Kenyans had to say.
The next fort of corruption will asset recovery commission. Of they can be compromised then we'd have done a full circle. I hope they atleast have some integrity

Why then do we have a commission? It means you are earning huge salaries for what is our collective responsibility. This commission needs to be disbanded😀😀😀

What nonsense . Do your job and keep religion out of this . We tried religion for years it didn't work . Now either do your job or stay out of the way and let DPP Haji and his team do theirs .

I do not believe in the bible study way, coz again Kenya is not religiously homogeneous. However I believe if we told Kenyans how much they will gain , in the long run without corruption and appeal to their moral conscience we could go a long way in controlling it

Please share tangible information on how one can participate like whistle blow protection etc. I find this very shallow and tired position just out to show presence and not actual effort to deliver corrupt free Society. It's sickening!
