Thursday evening, Kenyans on Twitter (KOT) witnessed as renowned business journalist Richard Quest mopped the floor with Julie Gichuru.
It a started after Julie Gichuru tweeted a photo of Richard having a meal at the Giraffe Manor in Nairobi accompanied by a quote he purportedly made on his time in Kenya.
The quote read, “Nothing beats the service industry in Kenya, the hotels are not only classy but also unique. Here I am surrounded by giraffes while having breakfast! In a country declared by the world bank as the “Preferred investment destination in Africa” probably attributed to the 6% GDP growth, what else can I ask for. Kenya is magical!”

Unfortunately for Julie, Richard Quest wasn’t in the mood for such bullshit and he immediately responded to the tweet making it clear he did not say any of those words in the picture.
