Hi Nyakundi,
There’s this Cleaning company called Kamtix Cleaners under the Kamtix Group that has conned more than 25 employees and dissapeared with salaries worth more than ksh 300,000, that is, one and half month salary, October and half of November 2021.
The stewards who were working at one of their client’s site, Machakos University.
The one year contract between the company and the institution came to an end on 16th November, 2021. However, untill 15th, the stewards had not heard a word from the management of the company about the end of the contract despite rumours that the contract was going to an end.
On 15th evening, a phone call was made from the Company’s chief Finance Officer, Mrs Gladys Gakii to the Site supervisor informing him to instruct all the stewards not to report to work the following day (16th) and wait for the clearance date.
This is not the first time this has happened, the firm is notorious for such conmnanship. They ride on the ignorance and desperation of poor Kenyan jobseekers. Any company that has given them a contract must terminate it now. DPP must also prosecute these guys. – Karecha, Chief Editor

Mrs Gladys, however, did not even come for clearing with the stewards as she had promised, she only sent someone from the office to pick the uniforms and other working tools a week later. Since then, she do not pick calls from any employee from Machakos university site, she doesn’t respond to messages.
There’s no single cent that has been sent in the account of any steward as at now. She’s the only, among the two people in the top management that the employees had contacts with.
The other person is the Director, Mr. Muhammed Ali who always hang the call whenever you mention you’re calling from Machakos University site.
The problem is that all employees were employed at the site, no one knows the offices in Nairobi, including the Supervisor. An amount of ksh 12,750 is the amount each steward has lost in this scam.
