Locals will stage a protest against Nyakach Girls High School Madam Veronica Opala tomorrow.
According to a note that was sent to us by one of the protest participants, the protests will not stop till the principal goes
The protesters have raised a number of issues including
1. Mismanagement of the school funds
2. Refusing to pay suppliers
3. Promoting lesbianism
4. Frustrating workers, teachers and fruit vendors
5. suspected devil worshipper
6. poor diet in school
7. Poor results
The school, according to the protesters had 60 grade E’s and a few grade A’s
One protester we spoke to has appealed to Education CS Amina Mohammed to intervene to avoid the ugly situation.
