Layer Miguna Miguna has advised Deputy President William Ruto not to let President Uhuru Kenyatta load him with corruption allegations, on the day that over 70 lawmakers allied to opposition chief Raila Odinga and Jubilee party called out Ruto for disrespecting the president.
“To @WilliamsRuto: Don’t make the mistake Jaramogi Oginga Odinga made in 1966. Make sure you sink with Despot Uhuru Kenyatta to the bottom of the abyss. You stole elections and public resources together. You must not allow Uhuru Kenyatta to swim to safety after destroying Kenya. The Constitution of Kenya created Siamese Twins at the National Executive. Yes, Despotic UhuRuto acquired power illegally and illegitimately. But the Commander-In-Chief of all the murders, torture, maiming and looting is Despot Uhuru Kenyatta, whom Ruto deputies. #uhurumustgo”, Miguna posted.
The country has become massively indebted and the war on corruption politicized over the past two years.
Members of Parlament are now looking at raiding the debt ceiling to ksh9 trillion. Despite this, the living standards of Kenyans has gone down.
For that reason, it is not easy for many Kenyans to remember that Uhuru Kenyatta and William Ruto have been co-partners in the Jubilee regime and that whatever incompetence, corruption and lack of development is pegged on their collective leadership.
Many experts have argued that the law has been used to derail DP Ruto from ascending the presidency, which according to Kenyans who think straight is a non-issue.
Kenyan youths are jobless, demoralized, depressed and oppressed and whoever talks about creating jobs is a welcome relief.
However, this dream has often been differed by unrepentant politicians.

The Canadian based lawyer had been an influential critic of the Jubilee regime led by UhuRuto.
On 30th of January 2018, he swore in Raila Odinga as the People’s President on the basis of the ‘opened server’ records that an IT expert at NASA had given them, according to his book Treason:The Case Against Tyrants and Renegades.
Miguna’s house was attacked at dawn in February 2018, he was abducted, and imprisoned incommunicado for several days before being forcefully exiled to Canada.
There’s are over 15 court orders to have Miguna reinstated in Kenya without applying for his passport, however, the government stopped his planned comeback in January 2020.
The lawyer has since sued to have the govt suspend Lufthansa (German) and Air France for the January 2020 mistreatment of not flying him to Kenya. The govt has argued that that’s above their jurisdiction.
In 2019, a court awarded Miguna Ksh7 million for damages he suffered when his house was broken into in 2018.
Miguna argues in his book that Kenyans must stand up for justice and take over their country, he advises peaceful assembly of massive crowds in that quest.
