It is either negligence by medical staff in Kenya has become rampant or is being reported more over the past 10 years or so.
The problem is that many many more might be going unreported, because of fearing to ‘upset the status quo’ in a village. And therein lies the problem. It’ll mean that doctors will then act with impunity knowing that, one, they are dealing with ignorant people and two, most of the people they are dealing with can’t seek legal redress due to poverty.
A man Caleb Obiero, posted a very sad story on Facebook about his wife who was pregnant.
Caleb who is evidently distraught, wrote that he is seeking help from Kenyans on how to go about a delivery that turned tragic.
