Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) Commissioner General Mr. John Njiraini is a shareholder in a Ksh. 1.3 Billion company.
Mr. Njiraini owns 5000 ordinary shares in Space and Style Limited, through Decamis Limited, an offshore company, registered in Hong Kong, China.
Space and Style Limited, is a roofing materials company that supplies the popular decra tiles.
Mr. Njiraini, however, denies the claim that he owns Decamis, even though media reports indicate that he is engaged in a battle for the control of the firm.
Today morning, City Lawyer Nelson Havi tweeted that Njiraini owns Decamis through his wife.
The founding members are listed as Ms. Mary Wambui Njoroge (wife) and a Ms. Esther Wanjiku Njoroge
John Kirimi Njiraini’s shares in Decamis Limited are held through one of his wives, Mary Wambui Njoroge and Esther Wanjiku Njoroge who resides in his Runda property indicated in company’s records. These are facts which KRA’s Board can easily verify in view of Njiraini’s denials. pic.twitter.com/PQiv1F7xqc

Mr. Njiraini has had two extensions since his term expired in 2017. Recently the board Chair Ambassador Francis Muthaura said that his term expires in June 2019.
Njiraini’s first extension was supposed to end in February 2018.
His tenure has been marked by run away corruption scandals such as never been seen in the history of KRA.
His extension is seen by many as ‘giving him time to put his house (read businesses) in order’.
