While quoting an unidentified source at the airline, Ethiopia’s state broadcaster [Ethiopian Broadcasting Cooperation] has confirmed that there are no survivors from the Ethiopian Airlines flight which crashed with 157 people aboard.
The broadcaster has also reported that the 157 (149 passengers and 8 crew members) are of 33 different nationalities.
The crash happened earlier this morning and the news was broken through the official Twitter handle of the Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed.
The airline later released an official statement regarding the crash.
