Picture of the gun suspected to have been used by Babu Owino at B-Club

The gun that was used during the shooting at Kilimani’s B Club, belonged to Embakasi East MP Babu Owino’s gun and has been found.

Kilimani police boss Lucas Ogara has confirmed this on Friday afternoon adding that the victim is in stable condition, contrary to what DJ Evolve’s mother has said.

According to DCI, detectives have managed to recover the firearm that is suspected to have been used by Hon. Babu Owino at the B Club shooting incident. Nine rounds of ammunition and a spent cartridge have also been recovered and placed as exhibit awaiting analysis by ballistic experts.

The gun, a CZ P-10 C is a compact semi-automatic striker-fired pistol made by Česká zbrojovka in the Czech Republic. It was introduced in 2017 after development that began in 2014. The weapon is designed for self-defense and use in the armed forces.
