Rogue Trans Nzoia County Government Accused Of Delaying Workers' Salaries

Hello Mr blogger,

Thanks for the great commitment you’re doing towards having a better Kenya.

My pledge today goes towards Trans-Nzoia County government if you follow the history it was ranked the second most corrupt county in the country.

Since the beginning of devolution, the county hasn’t made even a step forward in terms of development. It is dominated by the high-end corruption. Projects that were started in 2014, some of them remain incomplete.

Some workers at the county are not being paid salaries and instead they are paid once after two months; to make matter worse, the money comes in small portions as if it’s a donation.

The workers are fully committed to work but the top bosses whose salary have never been delayed are enjoying the fruits of corruption while the rest of the workers and common mwananchi are suffering.

The county government is biased also in employment; people are being employed from the neighboring county while the people of Trans-Nzoia are rendered jobless. (cnyakundi.com says: the devolution envisaged that a balance be stroke in terms of employment at the counties, while it is great to employ people from the same county, no one county should deny people from outside jobs).

Please highlight so that the salary delays can be sorted out.

We as parents are being depended on for payment of school fees our children.
