This evening, Kenyans on social media received the sad news that Adrian Kibe, a reveller who was pushed down the stairs by bouncers at the Bamboo Club in Eldoret, had succumbed to head injuries.
On the night of May 4th 2019, Kibe and his friends went to have fun at the night club and at around 3 a.m., he had an altercation with the club’s bouncers; during which one of them grabbed Kibe and threw him down the stairs.

His head hit the stairs and now he went straight into a coma with serious internal bleeding.
Kibe would later go into surgery the next day and was recuperating at the Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital Intensive Care Unit (ICU) before he passed on.
Here is a statement that was issued by one of his friends this evening.
“Adrian Kibe who was pushed by bouncers down the stairs at The Black Bamboo Lounge Eldoret has today in the morning succumbed to injuries at MTRH.
Even at his death, we are still calling for justice and all those involved be held accountable, I understand one arrest has since been made. The club too should bear the burden of this incident.
Being a total orphan Kibe was someone whom his siblings depended on.
R.I.P and my heartfelt condolences to the family.”
