Buyers of Kitengela Utalii plots and owners be aware of this two fraudsters, they were chased this morning trying to sell my plot.
Am told that is the famous Mwaura the surveyor,” he wrote.
Land fraud in Kenya is mostly committed by a cartel that has membership of government officials, land surveyors, brokers, and lawyers who ‘legalise’ cases of outright fraud in land dealings.
The crooks are known to sometimes manipulate elderly landowners to surrender their title deeds after which ownership is transferred illegally.
Other fraudsters collude with government officials who issue succession letters to strangers without the knowledge of the affected families – leading to children losing their inheritance.
