Former First Lady and current First Mother of Kenya Mama Ngina Kenyatta shocked mourners of the late Kandara MP George Mwicigi when she donated only Kshs. 20,000.00 to the funeral committee.
Mama Ngina who despite being named the the “Ivory Queen” and linked to the booming trade of Ivory that has seen the genocide of elephants in Kenya, is said to be very mean and stingy.
A collation of tweets once shared by @ItsMutai highlighting the shame that is Kenya’s poaching history. This is public information contained in Jon Tinker’s expose in the New Scientist Magazine dated 22 May 1975 that linked Mama Ngina to poaching, together with former Nairobi Mayor Margaret Kenyatta who is a Uhuru’s step-sister.
Despite the ill-gotten wealth that has built the Kenyatta family empire, Mama Ngina remains stingy, preferring to present herself as a struggling widow despite her being a shrewd operative.
In the funeral, Gatanga MP Roho Safi was openly embarassed by a seemingly drunk President Uhuru Kenyatta, when he petitioned the head of state to build roads in the region. Uhuru lambasted the MP, asking him to borrow money from donors instead of bothering him with petty requests.
Afterwards, Uhuru went to the residence of former Gatanga MP David Murathe in the company of Statehouse Mole Peter Kenneth and others, where it is said they drunk till the wee hours of the night. Murathe was recently in the news after Gatanga residents questioned his sudden source of wealth, considering that he is still declared bankrupt in a Kenya Gazzette notice.
