Impulse Promotions Limited, a shell company we exposed on this site back in 2016, has now been accused of witholding payments for three months despite workers having completed their job.
In a case of insider fraud, the company had been engaged by Safaricom to provide services for the Kenyan teleco but they never provided KPMG officers with the necessary performance review details of the agency. This was despite having received a payment of Ksh. 164, 250, 676.85 from Safaricom.
The performance review was to aid in knowing how it had performed according to the contracted terms. Impulse was also supposed to take video and photo evidence of all their activities and submit the details to KPMG auditors, which they never did.
According to an anonymous mail sent to CNYAKUNDI.COM, the company has now ignored multiple inquiries on when the workers’ moneys will be released and keeps asking them to exercise patience, which is quickly running out.
“Hi bwana Nyakundi, I pray that you are well. I have an issue with a company called Implulse Promotiots Limited. This company was contracted by brookside to help in the activation of Tuzo ESL milk.
We completed the task three months ago and up to now we have not been paid. I have contacted the Implulse head office and all they keep saying is we continue being patient. I have also contacted Brookside but the response was they can’t help yet majority accepted the job because of the brand Brookside. Actually, what I got was more of intimidation than help.
We have pictures of people carrying milk on their heads to deliver, daily reports of work, work schedules as well as audio recordings of some of the conversations.
As a public defender, I am pleading with you to help us and expose this oppression of commoners through these multinational companies that use shadowy companies. Thank you and be blessed.”
