The chief editor of this site has received damning information about racism at Light International Schools.
This site exposed the school’s management misdeeds a few months ago but the lameDuck Education Cabinet Secretary Prof. George Magoha has remained put, only advancing the white racist education (Uk Sponsored) curriculum known as Competency Based Curriculum (CBC).
Or has Prof. Magoha acted on cases of workers mistreatment through unequal salary etc?, cases of illegal immigrants and unequal pay at the school, cases of unqualified Turks masquerading as teachers at the school and How do you justify someone with ECD training to teach in High School just because they possess TSC number?
Here below, let Professor George Magoha start dealing with serious cases of racism that has driven some students to the point of depression and attempted suicide.
Even as we ask where the ministry of education is, where are the parents of the kids that go to these schools? Can’t you start taking action and make the world a better place for your children?
Here below the shocking information we received from one of the students:
Hi Cyprian Nyakundi,
I am a student at the Light International School and I would wish to let you in on all scams that are going on within this institution.
Personally, being a black student at this school everyday is a living hell. We deal with hefty racism from the Turkish teachers and even our fellow students.
The levels of discrimination is this schools are surreal. We are unfairly treated in the classrooms, hallways, lunch hall and even in the school compound itself!
Some of the Turkish teachers implement violence upon the black students. We are victims of verbal, physical, emotional and mental abuse. There are a few students who have attempted suicide out of the distress endured in this school.
Black employees, both teaching and non-teaching staff are discriminated even through their pay.
Black female students are looked down upon when it comes to extra-curricular activities. For example, girls whom express an interest in playing soccer and quickly turned away, but the Turkish ones are taken seriously and given opportunities to fully express themselves. The school really lowers one’s self-worth & esteem.
I believe it’s time people truly know what is going on behind closed doors in this shambolic institution.
I hope that you can achieve this through this email.
I hope to hear from you soon.
