Nyeri Deputy Governor Caroline Karugu was today caught pants down celebrating the fall of Kiambu County Governor Ferdinand Waititu, in a move that has been interpreted as being anti-devolution.
The Senate voted for the removal of Kiambu Governor Ferdinand Waititu, after finding him guilty of three charges which were tabled before it by Kiambu County Assembly.
Waititu became the first governor to be found guilty by the Senate. Senate Speaker Lusaka stated the three main charges namely; Gross misconduct, abuse of office and engaging in corruption.
Immediately after the news, Nyeri Deputy Governor Caroline Karugu posted a congratulatory message on her WhatsApp status congratulating James Nyoro as his swearing-in remains a matter in doubts after it was postponed.
Caroline Karugu, is now being accused of being a social climber by social media and her status has not been received well by Nyerians.
One social media user worries why she believes the solution to corruption in counties is to replace leaders with their deputies.
Caroline Karugu, a controversial figure has also come under the spotlight with many social media users questioning her USIU sex-driven PhD.
According to other social media users, it is time Nyerians propose new names for the post of Deputy Governor since Caroline Karugu has become too toxic and bitter to keep holding her post.
No wonder her former boyfriend Waithaka Waihenya former MD of KBC and Standard Newspapers abandoned her with a baby- Tweeted a social media user
