We have covered on this blog how Kenyans suffer to get into the United States of America (US) but until now. We haven’t shared the story of another country.
The VISA application process seems the same.
For Turkey, it is even worse than US.
A Kenyan sent us sad stories of how Turkey embassy is treating Kenyans in an inhumane way.
First of all, they don’t provide shelter to VISA applicants who come to the embassy, queue on the line under the scorching sun and wait outside the gate. There’s no courtesy at the Turkish Embassy.
At the US Embassy, people stand for maybe 30 minutes to an hour but at the inhumane Turks, they can stand to up to 4 hours in the sun, waiting to be cleared to enter the Embassy for VISA application.
The source says that, if one drives to where the Turkish Embassy is any day from 9 a.m. to about noob, they’ll see the hordes of people waiting to be cleared to enter the Embassy.
“Somebody needs to make them accountable, it is extremely unfortunate to see our mature and ageing adults sitting on the ground for hours, I have never seen anything like this. On top of that, the staff their (Kenyans) are incredibly rude… it seems to be an attitude problem coming from the top”, said the source
It seems like Kenyans need to make their country better because all these embassies treat Kenyans like trash.
We have beautiful laws that need to be followed but Kenyans are busy on BBI and such sideshows.
In our March report, we documented a Kenyan story on how they are treated at the US Embassy during VISA applications.
The process seems rigged in favour of Whites and yellow people. Blacks are the most ones who are denied.
“Standing in line I only saw Indians and people who they considered rich being granted Visas. A South Sudanese citizen was told no, other young Kenyans who wanted to visit their family members were told no. I only heard two yes replies. One for an Indian family and another for an old man donning a suit and to be honest he looked loaded”, our source said of US Embassy
The US discriminates against poor Kenyans. In this same year, the Slayqueen US Ambassador shared a picture on Twitter with two Kenyans who he had denied VISA to go to the US to take part in a Chess competition.
Kenyans immediately wondered how sociopathic one could be to do that.
At the Turkish Embassy, one staff Anne-Mary Onyango stands out as very rude.
Is she fucking the ambassador?
