Africans are not being entitled when they ask for better treatment, better pay at work.
It is not a fight between African and Whites, it is a fight between Africans and discrimination based on perceived notions that people with white skin or light skin are superior to those of darker skin.
Today, I begin these serious, and just like #SlaveryInKenya, it will run the full length of its course. It will be explosive, and hot as Kenyan employees, working in international firms are rewriting the way they are perceived.
Kenya is not like any other country. Its people are unique thinkers.
Most foreigners come to this country thinking that people are dumb like in their own countries.
The phased-out 844 system of education taught these Kenyans many things. You find an engineer, architect, physician, physicist all rolled into one person, even if flimsy, but the level of agitation in pursuit of happiness and more is what makes the Kenyan unique.
Coulson Harney LLP, Advocates (Bowmans)
Coulson Harney LLP is one of the premier law firms in Kenya, yet its dirt is now coming to the surface.
Coulson Harney also referred to as Bowmans has a wide spectrum of clients in the private sector, institutional and multi-national organizations, foreign investors and governmental institutions.
Cnyakundi.com has learnt that 6 partners at the firm have resigned with immediate effect. This is considered the biggest exit since the Kaplan & Stratton one.
The 6 partners are expected to exit with at least 10 associates. The six are, Anthony Njau, Sean Omondi, Njau Mukuha, Muthoni Runji and Christine Kamami, according to WhatsApp messages seen by cnyakundi.com
This exodus has left the litigation department with only 2 partners. The department that handles the oil and gas business has been wiped clean, and tax too.
The managing partner, Richard Harney is retiring too. Many staff at the firm are said to be very unhappy with the goings-on. Paras Shah, just like all Asians who are fond of racism is taking over.
Mr Shah is accused of pushing others out for his personal gain. For Kenyans working with Indians, it is 1619 every day.
Paras Shah is a quintessential Kenyan Indian, who view other Kenyans as slaves. He is a proper slavedriver who studied at Hillcrest International Schools. Nothing can be more worse.
The management is accused of giving themselves huge perks and carting all the money back to South Africa leaving the other staff with a pittance of a salary.
“Locals are mistreated and underpaid”, said a staff member on condition of anonymity.

Dear all
I regret to advise you of the resignations of the following partners from the Coulson Harney LLP (Bowmans Kenya) partnership: Anthony Njogu, Sean Omondi, Njau Mukuha and Muthoni Runji.
These partners have given notice of their wish to leave the firm. They have all served the firm with distinction and we wish them well for the future. The handover of their matters will be concluded shortly and those involved will be Informed.
Kamami Christine Michira will also be leaving the firm after more than 10 years’ of dedicated service. We are working with Kamami to ensure the smooth and effective transition of her matters to other partners in the firm. We thank Kamami for her valuable contribution to the Firm and wish her the best in her future endeavours.
I would like to assure all staff that, despite this news, and with continuing and committed leadership from our 18 partners and our colleagues elsewhere in the wider Bowmans group, our business remains strong, the firm is in good hands and we will continue to provide excellent services to our clients. The firm remains dedicated to the wellbeing of all our staff and particularly to the colleagues who are in teams in which the above partners have worked.
