Just when you thought things will get better now that Safaricom has a new CEO Peter Ndegwa; things actually got worse.
An MPESA sub agent tells cnyakundi.com about a new way their supervisors from the head office steal from them.
“Hi Cyprian I’m Mpesa sub Agent it’s been tough doing this business. I have lost like Ten till claiming fraud deposit. Every time I raise an issue with Safaricom PLC the refer me to the administrator. The administrators suspend till few days to pay day to reap where they didn’t sow”, said the sub agent.
What happens is that, the administrators whom the Lipa Na MPESA Till number fall under often make rounds and claim some sub agent have made fraudulent deposits. When one is accused of fraudulent deposits, they lose their commissions.
Is this how Safaricom manages its failing revenue in calls and text so as to keep reporting billions?

“The issue is a rogue agency where a Mpesa Till is being operated by up to 3 sub agents in a month and the administrator reposes the Till, 2 days to pay day. Efforts to visit Nairobi head office has never bore fruits since anybody going there are told sweet talk the administrator to give you back your Till”, the sub agent added.
He explains more, “When a Till is suspended commission is gone the float u have take alot of time to get or you lose for good”.
MPESA agents are Safaricom staff and as such must be treated well and unionized so that they can challenge the communist giant that is Safaricom Plc.
Now you have it folks, this is one other way Safaricom steals from Kenyans; hard working Kenyans.
When will the youths rise?
Were it not for the brave MPESA sub agent, how would we have known about this new tricks the people at those ugly buildings along Waiyaki Way are doing.
