A few days after exposing the rip-off that is Jambojet, Kenya Airways (KQ) and Royal Dutch Aitlines – KLM through a ticketing scam where clients are told that they will be refunded their monies in case they cancel travel, other clients has also revealed their predicament at the hands of looted and now struggling KQ.
Clients are told that they can get a refund from cancelling their tickets but that is a lie. They are in turn told to postpone travel in total regards to ones condition.
It doesn’t matter if one is leaving for another continent and won’t be needing any travels in the postponed 6 months period or if they are not in need of any travels. Those cancelling their travels are not refunded but told that they’ll have their tickets expire in 6 month’s time and that they should utilise it within that period of time.
‘That means I have to use the ticket within 6 months otherwise I will lose my money. The reason why I demanded a refund is because KQ which has a business partnership with Jambojet, forced me to do that by telling me that I must travel with KQ to Entebbe otherwise my KLM flight from Entebbe to Amsterdam will be cancelled. KQ has a business partnership with KLM. Ticket postponement is not the same as a refund. This means they lied to me that I can get a refund after booking. There is no way I can use my ticket within six months because I live abroad; stated the client as reported in an earlier article.
