An aggrieved former employee at Baron Capital Limited, a Kenyan non-deposit-taking lending institution, has accused the firm of unfair dismissal and non-payment of terminal dues.
In his submission shared below, the victim reads mischief from the company’s executives, whom he says are taking him in circles at the behest of the Director.
Other former workers of the firm are said to be quietly suffering the same predicament.
“Hi, Nyakundi,
Baron Capital Ltd has decided to frustrate me by denying me my terminal dues.
After terminating my contract through a phone call they have gone ahead and refused to pay me my dues.
Even after terminating my contract, they failed to give me reasons for my termination.
I have been following up on my payment but my effort has borne no fruits.
HR and the accountant have been taking me rounds that my cheque hasn’t been approved by the company’s director.
I believe this has been happening to other previous employees that have been terminated before and I hope relevant authorities should step in to restrict this unprofessional behaviour,” the source says.
Baron Capital Limited was registred in 2016 and hosts its offices on Tymes Arcade 3rd Floor Suite 311, in Ngong, Kenya.
