President Uhuru Kenyatta lectured Agriculture Cabinet Secretary Mwangi Kiunjuri, his PA Jomo Gecaga and Chief Administrative Secretary (CAS) Peter Munya for not taking notes during his speech in Namibia.
The president who was on a visit to Namibia to celebrate the country’s 29th Independence day, held a meeting with Kenyans living in Namibia.
He faulted the entourage for not being keen.
“Am looking now, my brother Kiunjuri has just opened his notepad to write what am saying. He was not interested in writing what these Kenyans are saying…maybe it has nothing to do with Agriculture, but he forgets that he is a minister of the Republic of Kenya. And whatever that is said he should be interested [sic] to know, what is it that this people are telling us and what is it that they want to know. How should we solve the problem”, the president said amid cheers from Kenyans
Uhuru went on to call out his long-serving PA Gecaga and CAS Munya too.
