Yesterday, we woke up to news that influential far-right figures in the United States have been banned from Facebook platform.
What is even more shocking is that Facebook is said to have initiated a new kind of censorship that includes muting, banning or suspending all accounts associated with people it has banned; this includes parodies, fan accounts e.t.c.
This is very crazy considering that some accounts might just have a name that resembles the person who has been banned.
In a response, US President Donald Trump said that he is monitoring the censorship of US citizens on social media platforms reminding the Social media platforms that US is known for freedom of speech.
I am continuing to monitor the censorship of AMERICAN CITIZENS on social media platforms. This is the United States of America — and we have what’s known as FREEDOM OF SPEECH! We are monitoring and watching, closely!! – Trump wrote in a tweet
At some point, the above tweet was pinned on Trump’s Twitter account.
It is increasingly becoming easy to get banned.

What changed?
In Kenya, some few privileged idiots have made platforms like Twitter uninhabitable.
They form bot accounts and even openly ask for some people to be banned.
The Safaricom – leaning idiots think that Twitter belongs to their mothers.
Anyway, after the banning of prominent Twitter personality and Kenya’s top blogger Cyprian Nyakundi, the social media platform users per month have dropped.
Which has made it counterproductive and embarrassing to the owners of the universe at Silicon Valley.
They thought that by suspending some influential Kenyans from the site, they’d get advertisement deals from the government, but alas, people are moving back to Facebook.
At least Facebook is sincere in terms of engagement; people on Facebook, click links, ask questions and conversation never stops.
Twitter people only engage by shadowboxing corruption, comment without reading links to appear intelligent; in short, a bunch of stupid motherfuckers.
In the new developments considering what Donald Trump has said, we await to see what decisions the Silicon Valley masters of the universe will take.
Or even more great, the decision that Donald J. Trump will take.

New platforms
New platforms such as 2bonge.net, (from Kenya) and gab.com (from US) have emerged to offer forums where people can speak freely.
If you have ever been banned on Twitter, just know that your days are numbered, no matter how many accounts you open, they’ll still get suspended.
Join the new platforms and build them.
Twitter was nothing in Kenya in 2013. But now that it has grown to become what it is, courtesy of Cyprian Nyakundi and others, it has become a censorship machine.

So surprised to see Conservative thinkers like James Woods banned from Twitter, and Paul Watson banned from Facebook! https://t.co/eHX3Z5CMXb

The wonderful Diamond and Silk have been treated so horribly by Facebook. They work so hard and what has been done to them is very sad – and we’re looking into. It’s getting worse and worse for Conservatives on social media!
