Unflinching Kenyan economist and socio-political commentator Dr. David Ndii dropped a huge hint on Thursday on his preferred 2022 presidential candidate.
Taking to Twitter, Ndii suggested that he will be throwing his weight behind DP Ruto. His dramatic switch is due to rot in Kenya’s political dynasties. He revealed that the problems that are currently facing the country are as a result of the dynasties and they should be sent home.
The economist came to the point that should it come to the point that Kenyans have to choose between Ruto and the dynasties, then Ruto would be a better choice.
Let me be clear. The imperative for progressive forces is to send both Ruto and the dynasties home. But if God forbid we must suffer one evil let us suffer Ruto—him we have a fighting chance. Dr. Ndii argued that DP Ruto would be easy to deal with in this era.

Ndii played a key role in ODM Party leader Raila Odinga election campaigns as he was NASA’s strategist who was appointed to lead the proposed Peoples Assembly that was spearheading the planned swearing-in of Odinga.
