A woman in Limpopo, South Africa will on Friday be arraigned in court over the murder of her 11-year-old son.
Nthabiseng Mokwana allegedly fed her child with porridge that was laced with pieces of glass which led to his death.
”Mokwana was arrested last week after residents cornered her until she revealed the whereabouts of her 11-year-old son Katlego, who had disappeared,” SABC reported.
The 28-year-old woman had reportedly buried the body of Katlego Mokwana in a shallow grave after he died.
Times Live newspaper said the decomposing body was discovered days after she claimed that he had gone to visit his father in Pretoria.
She also has another child, a 5-year-old girl, who has since been taken by the father after the woman was arrested.
Mokwana was laid to rest at Maseven Village outside Jane Furse in Limpopo on October 27.
