Hi Nyakundi,
I have seen your story on betting.
The government only allowed top tier Kenyan football, the FK-FPL, to run under very strict Covid – 19 regulations.
From the FIFA document, FKF was granted over Sh150m in covid relief fund to assist in testing of players and staff and to ensure they play safely. However, only two tests have been done since last December yet the regulations require otherwise and at the cost of the federation.
One PCR test costs 1k. Nick Mwendwa, Betika and Betking have forced the lower tier leagues to commence with no government approval or covid testing hence endangering the lives of Kenyan youth.

They want to make money at all costs without regard to players lives. Wondering where the FIFA covid funds went.
Am also wondering why the government is silent on this issue especially where they have granted no approvals, where players health is concerned and where monies meant for regular covid testing for top tier league was disbursed by FIFA.
Most of lower-tier teams play in open fields.
