The Geothermal Development Company management is known for all evils.
There is a need for a lifestyle audit for the management and staff at the organization, verification of their amassed wealth, as well as those of their families.
Our prayer today is that H.E President William Samoei Ruto’s first task is to clean the rot and bring sanity to the Geothermal Development Company Management.
Gross Misconduct: Tampering with files and other official documents
It is now clear she hired members of families of GDC management without papers.
Her family members are the undisputed leaders in holding fake certificates, big positions and salaries beyond their wage bands for the said job groups.
Irene Onyambu and HR Manager Mariam Yunus, together with the daughter of GM Paul Ngugi (one Martha Ngugi) are interfering with audited individual personal records and master data with a view of ensuring all incompetent, boot lickers are kept in the system to protect family interests.
In a Human Resource audit held in 2019 with an audit report, the three from the Human resources department have been spending late night hours from July to protect themselves and their cronies at a fee.
In an Audit report for the HR directorate in our possession, we see Mariam Yunus has no papers in HR records and verification has never been done, despite her rising from a Records Management officer in Job Group 8 to a Manager in Job Group 2 in a record period of two (2) years.
It appears that GDC is managed by thieves perpetuating to be Christians and Muslims.
It is important that the whole hiring, payment, and career progression guidelines are reviewed and audited.
It is also important to establish how Irene Onyambu was restated back to GDC after being suspended in 2016 together with other corrupt managers.
Irene is known for all the gross evils and has been going unpunished as the custodian of law in the organization.
It is established she used to fictiously claim Perdiem and mileage allowances every Monday between 2016-2020 knowing very well her workstation was Naivasha and she resides in Nairobi.
Hers was a corrupt syndicate with the CEO and the Finance office.
The chronicles of Madam Irene Nyaboke haven’t started today.
Irene a former medical clerk at KenGen rose to the ladders of Manager Human Resource and finally GM Manager with a qualification degree in Food Technology.
The manner in which she rose across the organization is unbelievable to many, since the organization has qualified HR practitioners.
From our earlier expose it is clear that the majority of those under her have no papers in the organization.
It is important that GDC revenue streams from KenGen are audited and the quantity of megawatt (MW) put in public.
The diversion of the MW from GDC to KenGen that has occasioned a loss of revenue to the state-owned parastatal is a corrupt dealing that requires recording of statements from the committee involved to unearth the rot in this system and how meter reading engineers were reassigned to other duties after bringing up the matter on MW.
It is also important that they establish the total Megawatts in the Menengai Geothermal field and the status of the construction of the power plant since records from Geothermal resource engineers provide conflicting information as to the total capacity in the field.
Currently, GDC owns 7 rigs acquired using taxpayers’ money and not all are functioning, some are discarded following vandalism and grass growing on others.
It is important an investigation is done to establish why the organization is not optimally using all the rigs and equipment it has after using taxpayers’ money with the intention to lower the cost of electricity.
Will the dream of lower power cost come to pass under the leadership of corrupt and unprofessional cartels like Eng. Jared and Food Technologist Irene Onyambu duped as a GM Human Resource?
It is a concern that requires an audit of both the Board and Senior Management on how the positions meant to be competitively awarded for GMs were dished out to unqualified and sex chauvinists Paul Kamau Ngugi and Irene Nyaboke Onyambu whereas those of managers have been in an acting position for over 6 years.
The career progression guidelines of this institution are skewed and require an audit, and the same is submitted to the President-elect.
Abuse of Office: Funds Misappropriation
We need an explanation and refund of money paid to all forged family members of the GDC leadership and their cronies.
Irene Onyambu hired family members all without requisite and forged academic papers, they were supervising graduates.
The boyfriend one Jeremy Rono never had a mere form four certificate yet was supervising a section of graduates and earning over Sh220,000 per month, all courtesy of the good service he provided to Irene Onyambu.
There is a major outcry at the GDC.
The staff are scared Jared will soon start eating the welfare money for the bereaved once he is done with the pension.
It is clear he is looking for money to pay for his Kitusuru house now that his contract is coming to an end.
Currently the Management of GDC is using intimidation and creating fear in the voice of staff through transfers and harassments.
Eng. Jared is a crook that should be behind bars for the KPLC smart meter procurement saga.
The trainings at GDC are skewed and only for the chosen few, where we have seen engineers attending trainings for drivers and now drivers are being forced to provide equation certificates and verification they have been continuously developing themselves.
We need to see light and transparency on how the mortgage and car loans schemes are issued.
It has become apparent that the loans are for a certain chosen group/tribe.
Company Procurements
Can all the procurements initiated under the leadership of Eng Jared be audited and reasons provided for the cancellation and re-tendering?
Jared has stooped too low to interfere with procurement processes.
He has gone low to push to be on the Inspection Committee of foreign procurement, especially that of power plants.
This is for his desire to get foreign Perdiem and kickbacks from the entities involved.
If Jared feels he has no competent Engineers, why then not undertake the local evaluation and Inspection of Engineering protocols?
His is a problem with having Graduate Engineers who are not qualified to perform professional work.
Pension Woes
Jared has stooped low to the level of Interfering with Pension Leadership.
The staff that have left the organization have not been able to transfer their pension to their new nominated pension schemes due to the fact Jared, Irene and Paul want to loot these funds.
Jared, please explain to us why you have not remitted our pension contributions after deductions?
You have two General Managers sitting in the pension board yet you have already converted them from permanent and pensionable to contract terms earning gratuity.
We need an audit that can also indicate if all the monies paid to our RBA are from GDC accounts.
We are scared in the manner you are handling our elected trustees or are you part of the loot at the scheme?
Come out clean, Engineer.
The legacy you are leaving is one of looting taxpayers’ money and now looting members’ retirement.
Have mercy, NO CEO in the history of Kenya has participated or ever taken the path you have, the expectation of staff is for a CEO to protect their retirement.
We need to establish from the MoE, Ministry of Finance and the Board of GDC if all the budget allocations for GDC for the last financial year were disbursed, since the company has not remitted our pension from April 2022 as reflected in our statements.
Member Data of the pension scheme from inception to 2018 November has disappeared and is only available from Dec 2018.
Any voice of question is silenced by the thieving cartel of Jared, Irene and Paul.
The manner in which Jared is protecting and interfering with pension matters leaves a lot to worry about.
He is an accomplice representation.
Corridors of power say he is now working with Union officials to silence all members who raise their voice on matters of pension.
