Suna East Member of Parliament Junet Mohammed has said he stands by his insults to president-elect William Ruto in a Twitter exchange with political commentator Edward Kisiangani
Edward Kisiangani shared a video that was recorded during the political campaign. In the video, Junet Mohammed is heard likening the president-elect to sheep with fake front teeth.

The video has been eliciting mixed reactions from social media users who have been demanding that the lawmaker apologizes, the latest pressure from Kisiangani whose tweet Junet responded to by affirming that he won’t apologize and will stand by what he said. ” I stand by it. What can you do” Responded the lawmaker”.
A few days ago, a few days to the supreme court ruling, Acclaimed lawyer Donald Kipkorir, who also doubles up as a ranking member of Raila Odinga’s legal team, called for the immediate resignation of top-ranking members of the Raila Odinga Campaign Secretariat and Junet Mohammed’s name made a cameo appearance.
Kipkorir demanded Elizabeth Meyo(Chief Executive of Raila Odinga’s Campaign Team), IT expert George Njoroge (who was tasked with overseeing IT in Raila’s Presidential campaign), Suna East MP Junet Mohammed and Saitabao Ole Kanchory (Raila’s Chief Agent in the just concluded presidential elections) axed from the ODM leader’s campaign team.
There have been rife allegations that have been linking the lawmaker to the squandering of funds that were supposed to be paid to Azimio agents.
But in a statement that was issued by Makau Mutua Sunday, the Azimio coalition chastised those accusing the besieged politician of squandering agents’ money. The statement is attached hereunder
