The corruption, mismanagement and mistreatment of staff at the International AIDS Vaccine Initiative (IAVI) has been exposed on this site before, and nothing was done. No action was taken.

Do you know why nothing happened?
Here is the answer: The corruption in the donor world stinks to high heaven. The collusion between donors and the governments around the world is an open secret, only that more donors and those corporations working on the international development sector haven’t been exposed. Some like Adam Smith International, have. But they buy the people in government so that they remain un-investigated.
However, be sure that this site doesn’t spare anyone. If it is corruption in the donor world, international development corporations/community and government, it will be exposed here.
Organizations such as International AIDS Vaccine Initiative (IAVI) have pocketed the Kenyan state. In the Jubilee regime, IAVI found a criminal a bosom-friend who doesn’t care about the welfare of its citizens.
Through this impunity, IAVI management have become untouchables and through bribery they know they are safe.
Why would the USA & others continue funding IAVI which treats Kenyan employees as trash?
This is the first series of the three part serialization of an issue of particular interest to cnyakundi.com and Kenyan at large considering that this site has been documenting unemployment in the past few days.

Bridge
International AIDS Vaccine Initiative (IAVI) Kenya workplace is not living up to the organization’s values and the working environment is severely toxic with incidences of very bad and unacceptable workplace behaviours’, unethical research practices and unfair labour practices recently reported as provided below.
Chapter 1: IRREGULAR LAYOFFS OF KENYAN NATIONALS
Over the past couple of years IAVI has been unfairly targeting and sacking or terminating contracts of Kenyans in complete violation of provisions of the Kenya Employment Act 2007 and Constitution of Kenya. This is now becoming a trend and targeting and profiling staff of particular nationalities, Kenya Nationality, and of a particular ethnic group in favor of foreign staff – a practice that is very alarming and needs to be put in check. Some of the terminations are disguised redundancies with organizational deficit being cited as the reason for termination of contracts, where in actual sense, the organization is enjoying huge donor funding but channeling funds to other wasteful initiatives and other unknown reasons. In these cases, the selection of staff to be terminated is not done in adherence to the provisions for the Kenya Employment Act 2007 (Revised 2012). Instead staff are unfairly targeted depending on their relationship with other senior staff within the organization or other ethnic affiliation.
What concerns the staff most are most recent terminations of a senior staff and now the Deputy Director where the Director, Dr. Anatoli Kamali, has completely disregarded in-country regulations in termination of the contract. More so, this has been in completely undignified manner in the presence of a Chinese Deputy President, HR (Fran) who has been in Kenya for some time specifically to preside over these irregularities.
After the sacking of the Deputy Director, Kenya, we are also aware that the Behavioral Science personnel has also been earmarked for these irregular lay-offs and is next in line.
What also concerns the staff is that this same Director, Dr. Anatoli Kamali who lays-off Kenya staff of a particular ethnic group, who are diligent taxpayers is of foreign national (a Ugandan) and is known to evade payment of Kenya taxes and shows no remorse about it.

In the next chapter, we are going to expose more ills specifically unacceptable workplace behavior where one staff Kundai Chinyenze collides with Kenyan medical doctors to infringe on staff privacy. Where’s the doctor – patient confidentiality?
