The Regional Institute of Business Management which has collaborated with Maseno University is a rogue institution.
The college which operates from the second floor of Ufundi Co – Operative Plaza, Opposite Jevanjee Gardens, is accused of offering courses it is not licensed to offer.
In October, 2018, the college was closed after Kenya Medical Laboratory Technicians and Technologists Board (KMLTTB) officials raided it.
The Principal of the college a Mr. Joshua Olet and two lecturers were arrested.
They face up to 15 years in jail or a fine of Kshs. 10 million.
How is this case going? Mr. DPP Noordin Haji?
Read below how the college scammed some students of their money and wasted their time:
Good Evening El Presidente,
Thanks so much for the good work you are doing to inform Kenyans.
For sure I am your loyal follower, nowadays I don’t require any mainstream media to get information.
That aside, there is this training institute well known as REGIONAL INSTITUTE OF BUSINESS MANAGEMENT established in 1999 and collaborating with MASENO UNIVERSITY.
They pretend to train medical courses in particular, the Medical Laboratory training that is not licensed by the Kenya Medical Laboratory Technicians and Technologists Board (KMLTTB).
At the moment I know of friends who lost their precious 3 years and finances in “training” in one of their branch in Kitengela.
Kindly but urgently, investigate and expose these cartels before they end up enrolling another lot of unsuspecting innocent Kenyans.
The matter was reported at Upper Hill Police station and a mention done to Milimani Law courts, but you know how our system works. They just fill those black books for nothing.
Roseline Okeyo who is the school’s director was once charged with the crime of training students in medical laboratory sciences without necessary approval.
She was later released with a mere suyrety of Kshs. 200,000 and an alternative cash bail of Kshs 100,000.
