Hackers have taken over the official page of Kapseret Member of parliament Oscar Sudi, CNYAKUNDI.COM confirms.
The hackers managed to take over the page 15 hours ago and a series of pornographic posts were made, we can confirm.
Efforts to reach the member of parliament for comment have been fruitless, as his phone never went through.
Oscar Sudi may be a victim of government-sponsored hacking as NIS seeks to silence Members Of Parliament critical of the first family after Oscar Sudi made allegations that the first family is more corrupt than Ruto since they are the only people buying banks.
There is expected a crackdown on Mps by targeting their phones and arresting some.
Hacking of social media accounts has been rampant with the most shocking one being the take-over of Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey Twitter account by hackers that posted racist comments.
With so much of our lives happening on mobile devices and laptops, it’s no wonder our digital accounts have become a magnet for criminals. Malicious attacks against governments, companies, and individuals are more and more common. And there are no signs that the hacks, data breaches, and other forms of cybercrime are slowing down!
Luckily, it’s easy to add an extra level of protection to user accounts in the form of two-factor authentication, also commonly referred to as 2FA. Maybe Oscar Sudi never had this extra feature.
2FA is an extra layer of security used to make sure that people trying to gain access to an online account are who they say they are. First, a user will enter their username and a password. Then, instead of immediately gaining access, they will be required to provide another piece of information especially a code sent to your text message provider.
For government critics, avoid using text message as a place where the code is sent since the government can pressure Telecom compnanes to illegally provide a code . Use an app like Google Authenticator or Microsoft authenticator where you can receive real-time passwords as an extra security layer.

Good luck to Sudi as he fights to get back his account.
