A Kamiti fraudster finally found his match after a group of young guys decided to play a prank on him. In the hilarious conversation, the fraudster tries to trick the young man into believing that some money had been sent on his mobile phone by mistake and that he should visit the nearest M-Pesa agent to fix the problem since his account had been blocked as a result of the “error”.
The trick is very common and is believed to be mainly practiced by Kamiti Prison convicts who prey on unaware Kenyans and end up defrauding them. On this specific day, however, as the Swahili saying goes, Pwagu Alipata Pwaguzi! The two young men take the conman in circles until he runs out of tricks to pull.
