A few weeks ago when the noose was tightening on the Deputy President William Ruto’s brigade because of a corruption war that is heavily biased, one of the DP’s Lieutenant Oscar Sudi, the member of National Assembly for Kapseret, said that they are supporting the ‘bringing home of Miguna Miguna’.
Itumbi had been arrested and in a series of previous events culminating to this, the team Ruto were willing to go bare knuckles
‘After Itumbi, we will fight for Miguna Miguna to come back home, we are not scared of you and we have no apologies for being team ‘TangaTanga’, Oscar Sudi said after the arrest of state House urchin Itumbi.
Miguna that time responded to the friendly gesture stating:
‘All Kenyans including Oscar Sudi have absolute rights and duties to DEFEND the Constitution, fight against those SUBVERTING the Constitution and PROTECT democracy and rule of law. They don’t need my permission to do so. And it doesn’t matter that they supported despots yesterday’.
However, in a series of tweets, yesterday and today, Dr. Miguna has kind of made it clear; he cannot work with Ruto.
‘I’ve to admit that DP William Ruto learnt something from how Jomo Kenyatta killed Jaramogi (Oginga) politically. He has denied Despot Uhuru Kenyatta the EXCUSE he needs to pull the trigger. Anything Uhuru does or says against Ruto is now seen as an unjustified aggression by Ruto supporters, he posted .
This prompted Kenyans on Twitter to think that Miguna supports William Ruto. He gave them an answer this morning.
Miguna said,
‘FOR THE RECORD, I consider DP William Ruto my intellectual, political and strategic junior. Ruto is ideologically ultra-right while I’m a radical democratic socialist revolutionary. Ruto believes in and works for the existing system while I want to transform it. #DespotsMustFall’, he tweeted.
Mike Sonko and Nairobi Deputy Governorship
Earlier last year, after his Deputy Polycarp Igathe resigned abruptly, Nairobi Governor Mike ‘the Kevese’ Sonko outmaneuvered the Kikuyu Mafia by proposing Miguna as his deputy pending vetting by the Nairobi County Assembly. The assembly rejected that proposal.
Sonko was aware that Miguna was sedated and deported to Dubai and that he was in Canada and that the Jubilee regime fears him and will not allow him back.
The regime has flouted court orders to reinstate Miguna’s passports and to bring him back.
We at cnyakundi.com hope that one day the regime will fall and that Miguna will come back and be part of the nation building.
Soonest would be encouraging.
